What we look for:
Furniture and art! If you have an extra-special singular furniture or art item we’d love to see it; if you’re moving or re-decorating we’d love to take a look at your furniture. (Please note we do not purchase bedframes as we don’t have the floor space for them).
When you walk around our shop you’ll see plenty of small items like candlesticks, vases, and dinnerware. However these are not items we have the resources to go out of the way to buy on their own. These are items our dealers have sourced themselves or items that have come with larger furniture purchases. Please do not show up to the shop with a box of small items.
Our current inventory will give you an idea of the kind of items we look for. The styles that do well here are: Mid Century, Post Modern, Art Deco, Arts and Crafts, and Contemporary.
Our Buying & Selling Process:
We buy items from individuals within the Greater Boston, Central Mass, and Southern NH areas.
To begin the selling process please send photographs of your items to store owner Jon Ames: jon@ramblemarket.com 617-930-7700. You can also send photographs to our team email: ramblemarketteam@gmail.com after you’ve contacted Jon.
After we assess your pieces and determine they are a good fit for the shop, we will make a fair wholesale offer and work with your schedule to arrange pickup.
To consider:
We are not a cleanout service and cannot offer rush pickups of your items.
We do not accept donations. We ask that you don’t bring items into the shop without contacting Jon Ames first.
We outright buy items from the public for a fair wholesale price; we don’t do consignment.
Please allow us a week to reply to your inquiries as we get a lot of interest in selling. If you don’t hear back within a week don’t hesitate to reach out again.
